Here at Summerhouse, young adults with
intellectual disabilities are provided
thoughtfully customized assistance and
support during their transition from
high school to adult life. Our nonprofit
501(c)(3) corporation was created
specifically with them in mind and is
geared toward personalized programs that
enable these young adults to make the
most out of the ever-important leap into
their adult years. Summerhouse provides
a safe, productive learning environment
that supports and encourages
self-direction and initiative in making
key choices, while also fostering social
skills and friendships. Volunteer
opportunities encourage community
connections for the young adults as well
as assists in maximizing their personal
potential and independence. |
